Mercer was founded in 2013 by Pim Dresen and was originally known as Mercer Amsterdam. The brand pursues the visionary goal of redefining footwear. The mission: to design stylish and environmentally friendly sneakers.

Mercer focuses on creating distinctive silhouettes that are designed entirely in-house – from the sole to the laces – offering a unique look and feel. Sustainability is central to Mercer: materials used are certified according to the Global Recycled Standard, PETA-certified and vegan, as well as Piñatex and certified by the Leather Working Group.
