The Mostro combines sport and lifestyle. It was first released in 1999 and has been one of PUMA's best-selling shoes ever since. Named after the Italian word for "monster" and originally inspired by two sports shoes – a spiked sprint shoe from 1968 and a surf shoe from the 80s – the Mostro is known for its characteristic hook-and-loop closure and flat spiked sole. This version features a textile upper, a stretchy textile lining, and a semi-grain leather Formstrip.
